We recently asked our readers to identify the meaning of interdepartmental liaison facilitation. If they didn’t know we asked them for suggestions. You can see the best of the responses below. The Humorous

The Winner: Vice President of first impressions aka Receptionist

1. A lunch hour speed dating service held for single staff members in the employee cafeteria

The Serious

Winner: A touchy-feely, politically correct, hand holding, paradigm shifting, Buzz-word compliant, holistic, non-value added, red tape co-dependent version of a Work Mom.

1. Someone who delivers correspondence between departments and helps with the delivery of mail/paperwork between departments

6. Someone who is familiar with the company as a whole and can assist others in resolving issues (or tell them where to go!)
   
   
7. Person who’s job is to help each department understand how what they do effects other departments and communicate that throughout the different departments.

Person who facilitates or motivates employees within different departments to communicate with each other regarding various issues, in order to accomplish harmony within the same company or organization and to discuss and resolve similar issues or problems in that company or organization to the benefit of all involved.
   
   
9. The company or corporate psychologist or perhaps sociologist.
